Features
From the first line to the printed pattern, with a 3D look at the garment along the way.
Draft
Draw polygons, rectangles, circles and internal lines, with curves shaped by handles or through curve points. Type lengths, offsets and angles when you know them.
- Extend, trim, split, merge and smooth a line
- Slash and spread, fullness, pleats and darts
- Symmetric pieces and linked copies that stay in step
- A straight skirt block to start from, filled in from the avatar's measurements

Sew any edges or internal lines together, one to one, one to many or many to many, in layers. The lengths of both sides and their difference appear at the pointer.
- Seam allowance for each edge, with a choice of corners
- Notches, topstitches, zippers and punch marks
- Grainlines, annotations and pictures placed on a piece

Place the pieces around an avatar, sew them and let the cloth drape. Gusset comes with two posable avatars, Marty and Jessica, and it loads your own .fbx, .glb or .gltf.
- Pins, folds and zipper tapes
- Strain, stress and fit maps on the cloth
- Rendered pictures of the garment
The simulation shows roughly how a garment hangs. It is not accurate enough to judge fit.

Print true to size, tiled over sheets or fitted to one, with a 50 mm line to check the scale. Lay pieces out by hand or nest them on a width of cloth.
- Size groups and grading tables
- DXF in the AAMA / ASTM style, SVG, PDF, OBJ and plotter files
- Opens
.zprjand.zpacproject files, so you can go on working on their 2D patterns

Gusset is an early release by a small project. It is usable for drafting and printing patterns, and it is not a production CAD system.
- The fabric presets and the size run are placeholder values, not measured ones.
- DXF output has not been tried on a cutter yet.
- Printing true to size depends on printing at 100 %. Measure the 50 mm line on the first sheet.
